What is Batch Traceability Software?

Batch Traceability Software automates the tracking of materials and operations within the business. It does this in two ways, using a Unique Numbering System (UNS) for materials and Shop Floor Data Capture (SFDC) for operations. The UNS allocates a unique number to each batch of raw materials, components and assemblies. The SFDC system captures, in real time, when operations were finished and who completed them.
