Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Full Users and Shopfloor Users?

Full Users have access to the full functionality of the software. You can set full users to have full admin permissions (ability to edit settings) or simply standard permissions.

Shopfloor Users have the ability to view or update manufacturing jobs only. A shopfloor user could be an individual updating the progress of manufacturing jobs or a single screen viewing live manufacturing jobs. They cannot see any pricing or commercial information such as quotes, sales orders or invoices in the system.

What’s included with QuickWorks?

QuickWorks includes all the functionality you need to run your manufacturing business from raising quotes, despatching orders to managing stock. For more information please click here to learn more.

Will QuickWorks link to our accounts package?

QuickWorks offers free integration with Sage, QuickBooks and Xero.

Can we import our data?

Yes, we have templates to import customer, supplier and stock data into QuickWorks. Please get in touch with our team and we can help manage your migration process.

Is support included?

Yes, all support is included as part of our service. Our standard plan includes email and telephone support. Our micro plan includes email only support.

Can I change or cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, the contract term is simply 1 month, this gives you the flexibility to increase or decrease the number of users in your plan at any time.

Is my data secure?

Yes, your data is encrypted on our servers and your data is backed up daily to 2 separate locations.

What happens if there is a problem with the Cloud?

QuickWorks data is encrypted and backed up daily to 2 separate datacentres - these datacentres are in 2 different locations geographically.

This means if there was a problem with the first datacentre we can switch to the second datacentre to restore service.

We’ve partnered with a large enterprise cloud infrastructure partner who provide 99.99% uptime and to date we’ve not experienced an outage from our datacentres.

Also, if you experienced an issue at your business premises e.g. an electrical outage, or the internet went down, then you are able to access QuickWorks remotely from your laptop with a WiFi connection - you can even hotspot from your phone or work remotely from home. This helps provide business continuity in case there is a problem onsite.

Can I work from home and still access QuickWorks?

QuickWorks is a cloud-based system, this means that you can work from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

Does QuickWorks include stock control?

Yes, you can easily manage your stock within QuickWorks.

Can I see my live order book and live stock levels?

Yes, you can view your full order book and live stock valuation at any time.

What happens at the end of the free trial period?

At the end of the free trial, you will have the option to continue with a paid plan of QuickWorks or choose to cancel with no fee.
