Production planning for growth starts with skills
Great news again from JCB, as they look to recruit another 100 welders and take on 15 more welding apprentices this month. These jobs are based at JCB’s Staffordshire factories in Rocester, Cheadle and Uttoxeter. Demand for JCB’s products is growing, with most products sold out until next year.
JCB has not achieved this growth by accident. JCB has and continues to invest in its people, developing the skills that the business requires, both now and into the future. Effective production planning and job management start with having the necessary skills in place. JCB have yet again demonstrated that skills development leads to growth. Well done JCB.
